Was having contractions now feeling bruised?

Was having some contractions last night and a few this morning, nothing since though.
However since they died down I've felt like I've been hit repeatedly in the lower belly/ cervix area. Feels like it's really bruised.
Is this normal?

I am 4 weeks pregnant today, I have been having pains that feel like period pains around 2:30pm I had a bleed, not as heavy as my usual period would be, but I am due to start my period next week is this normal to have a bleed? As this is my first child
