Gender & old wives tales

So, I'm currently 8 months with our 2nd DC. Again, we don't know what we are having. Therefore we still have everyone guessing whether it's going to be a boy or girl.

Did anyone find that any of the old wives tales rang true for them? (I.e. carrying out front/all round, cravings)

I had terrible heartburn and the midwife told me it would be a girl. It was and she said it was the only OWT she had found to be true.

Morning sickness.... was horrific with DC1 and now DC4. Both girls.

I had no morning sicknes and also had two girls.

I am another one who had no morning sickness and two girls.

Awful heartburn. All boys .

I carried completely differently with both of mine so convinced dc2 was a girl. Nope, 2 boys.

Also had horrible heartburn

Not an old wives tale but I had terrible asthma all the way through my pregnancy with DD which disappeared the day after I gave birth. When I saw the asthma nurse, she said it often happened with girls but not boys.

More heartburn this time and it's a boy.

My stomach is more baby and sticks out than my daughters, don't think I'm as big either.

No morning sickness with this pregnancy or when carrying my daughters

Dc1 was a girl. This pregnancy has been completely different; carrying just out front instead of all round, worse symptoms throughout whole pregnancy (nausea, headaches, spd ....). I wanted a lot of sugary and sweet stuff with DD. Now if I have too much sugary stuff I feel sick.

So pretty much everyone is predicting it's a boy!! I do try to keep reminding people that every pregnancy / baby is different lol.

I also had really bad skin this pregnancy, very sore spots and breakouts for the first 5 months.

Think they say girls do that as they take your beauty but it's carrying boy, hairs not as thick as it was with my last girl 😥

No morning sickness at all and carried all out front like a football in all 4 pregnancies.... I have 4 girls

Oh and heartburn with all 4 to
