Hello
A friend of mine will soon welcome her first baby. I am making a scrapbook for her - it's intended to be fun, something she and her husband can enjoy looking back on.
One of the sections is going to contain funny anecdotes about babies' early days and hints/tips that new mums/dads wish they had been given.
I am of course getting input from friends and family but wondered whether the mumsnet community would be willing to share experiences.
I appreciate any stories, hints/ tips that you found helpful or wished someone had offered when you were a new mum. What sort of help did you want from friends in the early days?
You might have guessed that I am not a mum!
