Does anyone have any recommendations for protein powders that are safe to consume in pregnancy? I'm in my first trimester and finding meat pretty unappetising so worried I'm not getting enough protein in my diet. I'm suffering with usual nausea and sickness and the main foods that appeal to me are fruit, veg and crunchy carb things!
Pre pregnancy I had whey protein in smoothies to supplement my workouts and running but I've read that they're not safe to consume so have stopped.
Any help please? I'd love to be able to have a fruity smoothie in the mornings with a nice dollop of protein in there. We're expecting twins so I feel I need it even more to help two babies grow!
