God i hope so!!! i have eaten 3 in the last week (somethered in mayonnaise) never really cared for pizza before cant get enough of it at the moment which is probably why i look about four months pregnant and i am only just 6 weeks! I keep telling myself i am bound to be a bit bigger third time round!! Enjoy x

Pizza should be well cooked according to my GP as Mozerella is not pastuerised (I think).

I told DP this and he forbid me to have pizza for 4 months - he diod manage to make a homemade Cheddar pizza once. I eventually convinced him it was OK as longas it was well cooked...

OK I have just googled and found this out...

Proper traditional mozzerella is made from unpasterised goats milk and should be thoroightly cooked to be safe

However, most supermarket & 'cheap' pizza mozzerella is not actually traditional and is actually made from pasteurised cows milk (so I guess its not mozzerella at all. I am now for being forbidden to eat pizza for a whole 4 months all because of mis-information.....

mozzarella is absolutely fine in pregnancy (I thought it was traditionally made from buffalo milk actually - never heard of it being made from goat's milk before). Bunny, your GP is talking nonsense and your partner sounds a bit of a cock, if you don't mind my saying.

Even if it wasn't pasturised when it was put on the pizza it is sure as fuck pasturised by the time the pizza is cooked.

all pasturised means is 'heated', you know.

Wow - never expected such a response! The pizza was absolutely delish and I shall be having it again!

Just a quickie, obviously nothing wrong with the pizza but I've heard a lot of 'the french are much more relaxed'. One reason for this is that listeria is rampant in france and so most women already have immunity, so they ward off infection before it can take hold and transfer to the baby.
