When I was 6 weeks pregnant I had some spotting/light bleeding so my doctor referred me to have an early scan. At the scan there was a strong heartbeat and the sonographer casually mentioned that I had a heart shaped uterus, so being curious I googled it and scared myself A LOT.
Last week I had my 12 week scan and asked the sonographer about my heart shaped uterus as it was mentioned at the scan I'd had six weeks before. She said that she couldn't tell that I had a bicornuate uterus by looking at it and that it's stretched to accommodate the baby. Is this normal with bicornuate uterus or does it mean I could have been misdiagnosed or that it's not a very severe dip/septum?
