Feeling really rough?

Hi ladies,

So a very big shock sort of still settling in, last period started July 20th so would imagine I'm about 4 weeks roughly, did a test yesterday and got BFP.

Now for a week or so before my period was threatening in the usual manner, felt cramping in my legs as normal and an always 'wet' feeling as if it's all just fell out (sorry tmi), this feeling isn't fading at all, I have intermittently cramps throughout the day, but not as painful as my AF ones. It's awful at night and my lower back feels like I sleep on a bed of rocks.

Is it normal to feel so crappy? Blush

Hi, congrats on your bfp. What you're feeling is completely normal.
In all of my pregnancies, cramping, back ache and a damp feeling down there have been my main symptoms in the beginning. I was so convinced af was coming I wore a pad up until 24 weeks with this pregnancy even though I knew it wasn't coming by then!
The damp feeling and cramps do go away eventually. It's all down to stretching and hormone changes.

Ahhh thank you - Last night I could of sworn I was on my period it was the same clammy body with the down below wet horrible feeling.

And here was me thinking I might get some peace from period pain - I only usually have 1 full day of cramping - this is going on a week now :(
