Can anyone tell me their experience if they have been pregnant on their wedding day please? what happened with your dress if it was a line or ball gown. I might be 3/4 months on our wedding day eek!

Ha i am getting married next week at 8 months....i have a lace long maternity dress. Will let you know how it goes Grin

My wedding is in three weeks. I will be 30 weeks pregnant. Dress is from Tiffany Rose.

However, at three or four months you will have more options as your bump is likely to be less pronounced. Also, I found maternity dresses like mine look odd in the early stages as you bump almost isn't big enough to fill them out!

The thing is I have my dress already! Arghhhh

I was 9 weeks pregnant at my wedding. I bloated a lot so my dress was too small (the fact that I was meant to have lost weight and hadn't didn't exactly help either). My dress was a line and it was a lace dress so my seamstress was able to insert some panels in the side seams to make more room and you couldn't tell. She also removed some of the boning to make it easier to sit down. As for the day itself it was fine, I was exhausted by 10pm but I coped better than I thought I would and thankfully wasn't sick.

Is it your first? I would think you would be ok at 3/4 months as first babies don't show as quickly. I was still in skinny jeans at 20 weeks with my first... Very different story with my second!

It will be my second, I'm meant to be loosing weight but that's a no go now!

I was 30 weeks pregnant at my wedding. My dress was an empire waist so fitted around the boobs but loose from underneath.

My dress barely showed my pregnancy as everyone kept commenting. Had around 5 fittings though due to buying in March and marrying in July. Only issue I had was bub decided to lay tranversly on the day, giving me an odd shape.

One thing I did find out though was just how tired I got. I really wanted a nap during my wedding breakfast. Grin

Thank you I've got something similar to this and I'm really hoping it can be altered

I highly recommended you call the place you bought it from and let them know. It's better to know now if it can't be altered as there is time to plan. There's no benefit to staying quiet until it comes in and hoping something can be done. It might be they can order extra fabric and put it an extra panel if required etc,or they might need to reconstruct the back. An experienced bridal seamstress will be able to advise.
