How do you date an ivf pregnancy?

I had egg collection on 24th July and ET on 29th July.
The receptionist at the fertility clinic has booked me in for a scan in two weeks time when she says I will be six weeks. I thought I was five weeks now which would make me seven weeks at the scan.
I asked Google and it says I am 5+1.
Couldn't really speak much on the phone as I was at work when I booked the appointment.

Hi OP, I had egg collection on 18th May and was 8+1 when I had my scan on 30th June with the clinic - all dates match up for subsequent scans.

I would say you count from your egg collection (so "ovulation") and you would be 7 weeks at your scan (add 2 weeks as your "LMP" would have been 2 weeks before "ovulation").

My clinic told me 2 weeks prior to egg collection. I also found an online ivf due date checker which gave me the same result. I was 8 weeks + 5 days when I had to scan.
