Hi mums,
I wonder if anyone can share some insight.
I'm carrying my second baby very low. He's a big boy and I'm suffering with SPD. He's been in a transverse lie most of the time and doesn't seem to want to get his head down. I've been expecting kicks and jabs in the ribs/lung area (as I did much earlier with DD) but so far nothing at all at 34 wks.
Could this just be because I'm carrying low and he's kicking to the side instead? I had a look at belly-mapping and that did seem encouraging, ie: what I think is a little bottom at 2 O'clock from my belly button. Hiccups are definitely coming from the lower half... I'm just confused about where the hell his head and legs are!
Anyone else carry low and not get those upward kicks?
