Hey ladies. Have a few questions,
Firstly I'm 39+5. Last 3 days I've been having brown mucus stuff when I wipe, I'm guessing that is my plug? Sorry ftm here!
Also since then I have been getting "stabbing pains in my cervix" the only way I can describe it lol, what could this be? And thirdly today I am
100%sure baby has turned back to back. I've read some scary stuff about how more pain that can be to birth and the tearing is horrendous! Is there a way to move her around or not really? I do hope this baby comes soon! Planned for a water birth, that won't happen if I'm past 42 weeks thanks in advance everyone

I can't help on the first two points, but using a birth ball can help to turn a back-to-back baby.

Yes could be plug but that can reform so isn't always an indication of labour is imminent

Stabbing pains for me was pgp i.e. pelvis separating for me it happened from 25 weeks and I didn't have son until 40+6

All fours and upright sitting and not slouching on the sofa. Not something I had to do though.

Hi op
The end is in sight!
The dreaded "fanny daggers"! Takes you by surprise but all normal I'm afraid!
This brown mucous I think is pretty common if I remember back to last year when I was at your stage. I seemed to have several plugs come away over the course of my last week.....some thicker, and more discoloured than others,

With regards to back to back I'm sure there's lots of time still to turn. I was the opposite and the bugger turned back to back on day 4 of labour, I thought he was going to push out the wrong hole! X
