Whilst out and about/not laying down/sitting down?

I'm in my 3rd trimester and I haven't ever felt him whilst simply sitting watching telly or anything like that. Just always whilst lying down etc and even then it's tiny tiny flutters.

My placenta is not anterior or whatever it's called, so there's no extra cushioning and I didn't have a tummy prior to getting pregnant Sad

First, occasionally from 22 weeks, second, from 10 weeks, third from 9 weeks, but I had no abdominals left by then.....

Ask the midwife for a doppler next antenatal appointment to hear the heartbeat.

Good luck.

DS1 18weeks
DS2 15weeks
DS3 19weeks (!) & he's still currently cooking I was surprised because I was expecting to feel movement earlier, but I might have just not noticed it because I was busy with my other two.

Sorry I just properly read your post -apologies. How many weeks are you? Where is your placenta?
I'm 36 weeks and have felt baby in all sorts of situations but obviously more if I'm sat still or lying down. Could be a mix of baby's position and your placenta.

I never felt either of my successful pregnancies do big kicks. My Mother has told me she would feel ny sisters foot under her rib cage and even sticking out! Never got that at all.

My feelings were all flutters and hiccups and squirming. With DS2 I felt him around 12 weeks. This pregnancy which will hopefully be DC3 I have been feeling him or her since 11/12. weeks.

As I said in OP, my placenta is normal etc not anterior (making it harder to feel movement as it cushions it more).

I heard him on the monitor a few days ago and midwife was very Hmm that I couldn't really feel him at all

DC1 - 16 weeks
DC2 - 13 weeks

I clearly make babies that kick early and often.

I started to feel dd at exactly 16weeks. I was lying down at the time. I started to feel her pretty much all the time by 18weeks but she was very wriggly and kicked alot! Maybe baby blue is a calm little one that doesn't do big movements? Also as you do feel him move i really wouldn't worry xx

23 weeks and that was twins!
Felt flutters from my boy twin at 17 weeks but took weeks to feel proper movement!
