Worried Sick - Pregnancy symptoms disappeared at 5 weeks

I am going out of my mind, I have had 3 miscarriages - 2 this year and I am now 5.5 weeks pregnant. I found out last week due to severe symptoms, sickness, sore boobs, complete loss of appetite and exhaustion but all seemed to have disappeared at 5 weeks. I have a scan booked in 10 days but struggling to think straight, no cramping or blood as of yet but still very worried. Is there any hope? ALso clear blue weeks test has gone up but a week behind where I think I am. Thanks

Pregnancy symptoms are really unreliable, aren't they, especially when you're understandably worried about them Flowers. This time round, mine kicked in with a bang at 6 weeks, then eased off; got worse when I had a cold at 9 weeks and again just to be annoying at 13. So many things can make you feel better or worse, and every pregnancy is different.

If you're not bleeding, try to distract yourself if such a thing is possible - and if you do start bleeding, don't feel you have to wait for your scan to call 111 or your local EPU.

There is definitely hope! My symptoms went away around 5.5/6 weeks, then came back in full force a week or so later.

Thanks for you kind responses, a few of my symptoms did come back today but devastated as I started spotting and cramping in the night last night. I thought it was as the blood stopped all day but has come back again this evening so things are not looking good for me 😔. I have everything crossed and will keep you posted x

Fingers crossed for you Shiva - I'm sure you've been through all this before, but remember spotting's not necessarily a sign something's gone wrong. Hope you have a good night, and things settle down in the next day or two.

OP if this does indeed turn out to be a MC then you certainly qualify for investigations. Usually three in a row are enough for them to do a few investigations to rule out certain things and perhaps start you on prophylactic treatments for subsequent pregnancies, e.g. Progesterone, aspirin etc.
Although I do hope that this one is a sticky bean for you.
