Lost plug, brown discharge?

Hi,

I lost my mucus plug exactly week ago, the last few days I've had this brown/pink tinged discharge, its heaviest in the mornings and generally dies down a little in the days. Seems more today tho, and I have had a lot of aches in between my legs, feels quite uncomfortable to do much.

I haven't had much pains or anything, mainly a lot of twinges down there!
Is this a sign labour is near and what is the discharge about? Little worried as I'm not due yet! So just wondered if anyone knows or is experiencing the same?

Get in touch with your hospital and go and be checked please. I had this and it turned out baby was really stressed and ended in emergency c-section. Don't want to worry you, as may be nothing, but please get it checked as soon as xx keep us posted

Oh really? Did you feel less movements before? I still feel little movements but I wouldn't say anywhere near as much as before but I am aware that baby has less room further on etc. I'll call up though, thanks xx

That's good, so hopefully baby will soon be here. Hope you are all ready for the arrival!!! Don't think we are ever ready though.
Is this your first ?? Please let me know how it all goes, I have 6 weeks left xx

Just in case anyone reads this with similar issues.

BABIES DO NOT MOVE LESS AT THE END OF PREGNANCY BECAUSE THEY HAVE LESS ROOM!!

This is a myth! There's campaigns all over the country to correct rubbish like this. If your movements change, get checked whether you are 30 or 42 weeks.

angelinheaven · 14/08/2017 15:56

Totally agree, they don't move less, every baby has it own pattern of movement if this changes at all then get it checked. Don't leave anything to chance. My waters broke at home with my last dd and the midwife told me on the phone "there is no way your waters have broke " ????????
Why!!! This is my 5 dc and I think I know my waters have just broke.
She then told me again that they hadn't and going into hospital was wasting everyone's time. I went into hospital and my baby was very stressed had then had a poo, so very stressed, and I ended with an emergency c-section. My point being is if that had been my first pregnancy I would have listened and not gone in and chances are my dd would not be here today, as she then had lots of breathing problems and in intensive care for a week. Please don't leave anything get it checked properly. Especially if baby stops moving or slows right down xx
