Maternity leggings!

Where where where can I get some maternity leggings that aren't see through and that actually go over the bump Confused

I've tried h and m jeggings, new look and ASOS but hate the feeling of the hard jean bit and then the soft bump added material! Much prefer leggings but also don't like showing my bum off and my wobbly legs.

I've tried ASOS, eBay, h and m and they're all rubbish Sad

Mine were from ASOS and aren't see through / go above the bump & beyond. Most comfortable things ever, think I'll have to be forcibly extracted from them after baby arrives.

The H&M ones are definitely not see through in my experience, and I'm usually v fussy about this in leggings! I got a M (I was a 10/12 in jeans pre-pregnancy) and they fit really well. Have to say they've also lasted better than a lot of my pre-pregnancy leggings, which I used to get from Topshop or New Look and they both got holes in them quite quickly after buying. These beauts have lasted me since I was 13 weeks pregnant and still wear and fit really well at 32 weeks! I've also got a pair of 3/4 length ones from ASOS that are pretty good, but they cost a lot more than H&M so they're still the winners in my book! 😊

Jojo are the way to go in my view, really comfy and not see through at all.

PickingOakum · 11/08/2017 21:57

I got some from M&S this time. They are over the bump, very comfy and wash well.

I found ASOS and New Look maternity wear seemed to either shrink in the wash or wash very badly. M&S maternity wear seems to deal with being washed more regularly, which is a good thing since I have always been loathe to buy more than a pair of maternity leggings, a pair of maternity jeans and a pair of maternity joggers.

Did you see the ones on www.beactive.ie ? Quite nice and most of them over the bump. Try ordering one size up than yours, just to have room in case your weight goes up too.

purpleoasis · 17/08/2017 21:37

Thank you everyone! I've order from gap, Jojo, h and m and more ASOS! One better be ok Hmm

@purpleoasis how did you get on? Any winners?

LadyRenoir · 18/10/2017 18:51

Jojomamanbebe- the best leggins ever.

louiserachael · 19/10/2017 12:02

@purpleoasis Asda George - love them !

PolarBearGoingSomewhere · 19/10/2017 12:03

I just wore normal leggings back to front so my bump went where the bum should've been. Bizarrely I love Aldi and Lidl's Blush0

mammabear4 · 19/10/2017 12:26

@purpleoasis following this with interest - desperate to find some thick black maternity leggings that won’t go see through! Been searching “treggings” but all seem so pricey!

auroracloud · 19/10/2017 12:39

I've still yet to find a pair that aren't see through! Maybe it's because I have a big bum...

New look are probably the best out of a bad bunch. Hated Asda! They go soooo low at the bottom

Elmo230885 · 19/10/2017 12:42

Best ones I had were from Matalan, which is odd as I really don't like their regular leggings. I was bought them as a present otherwise I doubt I would have tried them.

marciagetscreamed · 19/10/2017 12:43

I lived in Red Herring maternity leggings for both of mine. Got them in Debenhams. Not see through, fitted completely over the bump and lasted ages. Were about £12 I think.

mammabear4 · 19/10/2017 19:51

To anyone who may be interested - I’ve found some amazing ones!! Boohoo “Nadine thick ponte over the bump leggings” - £8! Good length too, I’m 5ft4 and they’re just to my ankles so not bunching up at the bottom 👍

mammabear4 · 19/10/2017 19:51

Meant to say - thick enough fabric that I would wear as trousers without needing a long top

HerSymphonyAndSong · 19/10/2017 19:53

Are the Jojo ones good and supportive?

auroracloud · 19/10/2017 22:04

@mammabear4 I didn't know boohoo did thick ones! I got some awful ones from them but will give the other ones a bash

Mycrazyhead84 · 20/10/2017 08:19

I got mine from Topshop. Bit more expensive than other places but material is thicker and not see through.
