I'm 26 weeks and as of yesterday, it feels like my hip joint has been dislocated. Perhaps that's a slight overreaction but it bloody hurts! I'm limping with it.

I fractured my ankle in a few different places a few years back and that has been playing me up on the odd occasional for the last 6 months or so. Well, recently it's been bearing its head more and more and that coupled with this hip pain (on the same leg), is really sore.

Is this just a result of soft ligaments or could it be something more (the hip?)

I really can't walk properly and climbing stairs is excruciating Sad

Yes, common. Unfortunately. It's likely to be Pelvic girdle pain - I used a chiropractor who specialises in pregnancy and it was a massive help. Nhs route will likely be a slow referral to a physio.
If you google you'll get lots of tips to minimise pain - including keeping your legs close together and going up and down stairs one at a time
