I have two boys and three miscarriages behind me plus I am old. I had my 12 week scan today and things looked ok. I'm having the Harmony test done on Sunday so will know the sex before the 20 week scan.

I've heard about nub theory and was staring at my scan picture and it seemed like I could see the nub and according to the theory it looked girl like. I would be totally delighted with either sex and am expecting a third boy when we get the results. But for a moment I thought there was just a possibility it could be a girl.

Does anyone think the nub is evident here or is the scan too blurry?

Yes that does look like a girl nub. What was the exact gestation? Just because they all start looking quite girly and start to become more boyish if that's what it is from about 12+4ish. FX it stays girly for you.

Oh wow I'm trying not to get excited 😜 I love my boys but my third miscarriage was found to be a little girl with downs so I guess I have a hankering.

They really are, everyone guessed my boy correctly.

Does it show on your newsfeed though if I post it on there. I don't want anyone to know I'm pregnant as I'm paranoid it will go wrong.

It's a resounding girl on the Facebook group however because it's still early they are saying it could turn boy lol. I have to say I just want the little blob to be healthy so if it's another stinky tinkle to add to the two I have I'll just hope to God one of them can put a shelf up as an adult and save me a handyman bill 😜
