I'm just over 15 weeks and I'm a larger/curvier lady. My stomach has never been my problem it's my thighs and bum! So I was hoping I would look pregnant by now? I've lost 2 stone since being pregnant but I haven't felt sick or anything. Just wondered when bigger ladies started to show? I haven't felt anything either :/

I was about a size 12-14 and showed around 24 weeks! Very neat bump throughout.

Foggymist · 10/08/2017 13:50

Yeah I'm a 12 and today at 26 weeks in tight clothes someone who knows me well didn't notice, only showing the last week or so, didnt show much until 30+ weeks on dc1. It could be a while yet.

I'm a 22. It's just frustrating not showing. When did you feel the baby move?

Most don't feel the baby move for a good few weeks yet. I only felt mine move a handful of times due to an anterior placenta.

I didn't look pregnant until around 18 weeks and only then if I made a conscious effort to!

Congrats Smile

Didn't really show until about 24 weeks. Currently 38 and am huge!

Gothbaby · 10/08/2017 16:23

I thought i looked pregnant well earlier cos i felt bigger but realisticly since around 28 weeks buttttttttt people I know have only really been commenting on it after 32. Xxx

RedPandaMama · 10/08/2017 16:34

I'm a 14 to 16, 5'8 so quite tall and I have big boobs so you couldn't tell I had a bump for AGES. People only started noticing around 24 weeks and even now (41 weeks) my bump is quite small and neat. X

Milliemoo37 · 10/08/2017 16:41

I'm size 18-20 and quite tall and I've been told by midwifes that they don't believe what I weigh, even said I was quite a slim size to her. Even if it was bullshit it cheered me up on a bad day.

But I'm currently 33 weeks. I can feel a bump and I feel baby moving and kicking every day, I just don't really look pregnant.

DeadDoorpost · 10/08/2017 16:43

Size 16 here and lost 2.5 stone (due to HG though). I didn't start showing until about week 18 but belly really showed more at week 20. Also felt the baby move at week 18 but want sure of it until week 19. I also have an anterior placenta so it does cushion movements. Except as I type this he's kicking me the other side so can feel them quite strongly.

It depends on your physiology and the baby's development and position. Whatever your size you may find that one pregnancy is different from another for you, as I did.

You will show soon enough, and then need you'll more clothes. Smile

I thought I'm getting to discernible stage and I'm 19 weeks, I was a size 12 but am more of a 14 right now. Having said that I've been fascinated by how much people notice, or not. I've had one woman clock it 4 weeks ago, I swear she's some kind of witch :D. A few people have done the 'are you...' awkward look. Many people are apparently oblivious! Had a big family wedding recently and everyone was saying you look great, strong, glowing etc. I felt fairly normal but looking at the pictures I see what they mean... I've kind of gone uber wench! Everything's a bit rounded (including my face). As I've got broad shoulders and am tallish (5"8) the effect is a bit like one of those old fashioned depictions of the Valkyrie. That was boyfriend's term, which is a bit more flattering than my initial assessment of 'like a barge'.

About 4 and a half months for me. Congrats Grin
