What should I do with my birth ball?

I'm 35 weeks pregnant and for the last few nights have spent half an hour to an hour sitting on my birth ball. I have bounced up and down a bit and circled/rocked my hips. Is this what I should be doing? Is there anything more I should be doing on it? I don't feel like it's doing an awful lot!

It's not necessarily "doing" a lot but is forcing you to sit in a better position than, say, the sofa where you can slouch.

By all means have a bit of a bounce or a rock if you want to, but it's to help with posture and make you sit upright/straight back rather than lounging/slouching on the sofa.
