Pregnancy after 2 consecutive miscarriages

Hello

I have had two miscarriages in the last few months.
After my second miscarriages I got pregnant again straight away without having a period.

Does anybody know How I date how far along I am?
All i know is it is extremely early days. I am terrified of a third miscarriage and absolutely desperate for this time to work out ok.

Thank you x

I'm in exactly the same position. I used a CB digital to get an approximate date Smile

Let's hope we both get our rainbow babies this time around x

This was me last year. I was using ovulation sticks so i knew my dates- if i'd been going off my post miscarriage periods i'd have no idea! I've just had a little boy last month after a really easy pregnancy and syraightforward birth. I hope it works out for you too!

I'm in the same boat. 2 consecutive miscarriages and pregnant immediately after the second. I was offered an early nhs scan at 8 weeks to check how things were going and to give a very rough date (which changed by a few days when I had my 12 week scan). It may be worth contacting your surgery to see what their process is and whether you can be referred for an early scan (I think policy varies across the country). I hope it goes well for you.

Thank you lululubu
I have arranged an early scan now, so fingers crossed
Is everything going ok with your pregnancy?

How far are you lulu?
Sunny, how did you arrange your early scan, privately?
They don't do early scans on the NHS where I live unfortunately Sad

Good luck OP! (I've reported the previous post btw).

I had 3 consecutive mcs, and the 3rd was conceived immediately after the 2nd. My GP referred me to the EPU as I wasn't sure of my dates (where I found out about my 3rd mc, as the scan showed a missed mc). So maybe ask for a referral? They don't start investigations for recurrent mc until after 3mcs, but in my area you can have an early scan after 1, so check it out.

Fwiw my last mc was in April, I had tests done and I'm now on my 4th pregnancy with treatment (5 weeks today) and hoping this one sticks! Miscarriages are awful. Fx this one works out for you.

Thanks guys

Emvy- no I haven't done it privately, I've arranged it with the NHS through my GP x

IMen - my post is nothing to do with c sections or natural births

Harriet - thanks, I had all of the tests after my second miscarriage (must be a postcode lottery) and everything came back normal. Best of luck to you for this pregnancy x

Everything's fine this time thank you. Now 22 weeks. I've not done anything differently this time so presume my miscarriages were just unlucky. Best of luck with your early scan.
