Aching all over after exercise

Just wondered if anybody was feeling the same as me??

I'm 11 weeks and am trying to keep active. I regularly run and have found no problems with this so far (apart from having to walk/run if I get out of breath)
Before getting pregnant, I would do 2/3 exercise DVD's a week also - low impact aerobics and Taebo kind of thing) but am finding now that if I wake up during the night after doing one, and the day after, I ache all over and feel like I've been hit by a bus. They are not strenuous in any way but every muscle is aching! Especially the backs of my thighs and the top of my bum!
I would really like to keep them up for as long as I can as I would like to keep active and (try) to keep some sort of shape, not bothered about tummy getting bigger.

Relaxin kicks in very early in pregnancy

And listen to your body, you might want to continue those exercise types but your body might have other ideas. I was hugely frustrated by what I couldn't do in my pregnancy, but had to accept it is a tiny portion of my life

As PP said I think your body relaxes a bit and sometimes it can ache! I'm 22+6 and I've mostly been to the gym 4/5 days a week the whole time. If I feel tired, I take it slower. I've dropped my weights down lower but I feel that actually moving my body makes me feel better. Perhaps take some more time to stretch properly before and after Smile
