Is it normal for symptoms to come and go?

Hi I'm 10weeks+2 pregnant. So far the only constant symptom I have had is heavy sore boobs. They mostly hurt at night when I'm in bed then get up again to the point where I was considering wearing a bra to sleep in. Woke up this morning in a panic as I realised they didn't hurt much this morning. Is it normal for symptoms to come and go? First timer and not sure if I should be worried.

Hi I'm a first timer as well and now 17 weeks and I lost a lot of my symptoms by week 10 and it is totally normally! Some days my boobs were sore and the next not and then over night disappeared! Xx

Every normal. Around 10 weeks the placenta starts to take over and you can (not always!) start to feel better. Fingers crossed you are now entering the nice glowey bit!

Thanks both. I hope it's nothing to worry about. I've been lucky I think so far to mostly escape the nausea and sickness. Some days I have to remind myself I'm pregnant. The only other thing I've had is terrible skin and some hair loss :-(. Hopefully that will clear up soon too and I'll get glowey :-)

I've not had any experience of this first hand but my limited medical knowledge agrees with sham in that for those lucky enough, symptoms start to ease off after 10-14 weeks as the placenta takes over. Try and relax or keep busy to distract yourself until you reach your 12 week scan. Best of luck for a smooth pregnancy for you x

Very normal, the only thing I have had continuous is the fatigue and big boobs. The nausea and hunger come and go. I've developed bad skin also. Oh the joys.

Between 16-20 weeks its gets better apparently Hmm

Yes, my symptoms come and go - wk 11.

Thank you all. I'm finding it quite stressful so far. As a first timer I have no idea what is normal and what isn't and sometimes Googling doesn't help and terrifies you even more.

I had a private scan at 8 weeks and everything was fine and there was a strong little heartbeat but it still feels like ages to the 12 week scan. Hopefully I'll get my appointment letter through soon. Maybe then once the risk has dropped again I'll begin to enjoy the experience a bit more.
