A less-than-pleasant topic! I'm a bit freaked out by this because so far in my pregnancy I've not had anything like this. I'm 19+4 (twins) and for the last three days I've had terrible, non-stop diarrhoea. For a few days before I had a sore/gurgly tummy and on Saturday it hit. Sorry for giving tmi, but I've been on the loo every 15-20 mins. I'll have an hour or two where it seems better and then it comes back with a vengeance. No other symptoms.
I'm freaking out a bit because I'm thinking it might be a sign that something is wrong. Or it might be harmful if it goes on. Can diarrhoea like this commonly occur in pregnancy? I sent OH to the pharmacy to ask about Imodium but the pharmacist said better not to take it during pregnancy.
