Clear blue test stuck on 2-3 weeks

Hello!

So I found out I was pregnant just over a week ago, it was an unplanned pregnancy but a nice surprise after I got over the initial shock!

I think I am 5w6d today. I did a CB digital last tues that said 2-3w, which I thought was concerning as thought I was 5+. 5 days later and it is still saying 2-3 weeks.

I've taken the test apart and the lines don't seem to be darkening. I've read mixed things about these tests.

I'm not feeling massively pregnant! A bit of morning nausea that passes quickly after breakfast!

Do you think this is a failing pregnancy?

I never got a 3+ weeks - only ever stopped at 2-3 weeks.

I'm currently 23 + 5 with baby #2

It measures from conception which was 3 weeks ago. Hcg varies in everyone you may not have reached a level for it to say 3+ yet.

Those tests measure the number of weeks from conception, not from your LMP.

They don't go beyond 3 weeks.

Mine stopped at 1-2 weeks...I am now 20 weeks! I'm sure you'll be fine
