Acrylics when pregnant ??!! Worried

Is it dangerous to get your nails done with the fumes? I went to the nail shop to get my nails done but now I'm worried about the exposure to fumes I just didn't think. It was a Chinese nail salon and the products they use are quite strong! Anyone else have experience of this? It doesn't help that iv just googled it. Thanks

But if we both have I expect many pregnant ladies are in the same boat?!

I think the standard advice is avoid it in first trimester but after that try to keep as well ventilated as possible. Maybe ask if you could sit by an open door/window if you're worried.

OP I get my nails done every two weeks. As soon as I found out I was pregnant I asked the girl who does my nails who is 25 weeks pregnant herself. She said she wouldn't be able to work around it if it wasn't safe, so it's absolutely fine!

My nail technician said it's totally safe but that the fumes may make you feel sick. I had them for the first 20 weeks or so of my pregnancy but had them taken off a few weeks ago.
