So out of breath

I'm roughly 7 weeks pregnant and my god I'm so out of breath... even cleaning the house is killing me. I'd expect it further on but now seems ridiculous... has anyone else had that?

Yep! My husband called me Darth Vader for weeks! I went from gym 4 times a week and running 5k's to almost collapsing when climbing the stairs to bed! I'm 21 weeks now and it has become much better, but I am still out of breath a lot. Congratulations btw!

That's a lack of iron. Your reserves can plummet at point of conception and remain utterly bollocks for the next 30 weeks yay so maybe check in with your GP for a blood test?

Meantime may I recommend Spatone as it kicked the ass of the rubbish tablets I was given?

Mine was awful from day one pretty much too. I already had asthma from childhood and was displaying symptoms of asthma attacks, so eventually went to the doctor and ended up with a brown inhaler. It's helped a bit but can't walk without baby doing headers into my cervix either so not much chance to try it out these days.

I have this currently but it's due to anaemia (32 weeks tomorrow). It's awful! DH keeps telling me to stop sighing - I'm not! I'm trying to get my breath!
