What happened after you had a show?

I'm in my 39th week.

Ive been losing the plug in bits since yesterday, maybe every 4-5 hours some more comes away.

I'm getting quite large amounts, pale brown and sometimes tinged with a tiny amount of blood.

I have dull achy period type pains but nothing like contraction pain.

Just curious to know what is likely to happen next? If this sounds similar to you, how long was it till labour was properly starting?

Probably the start but could be a while yet. With my second, I had bits of plug coming away. Walked a massive hill the next day, then realised what big bits actually were! Had here the following night.

Everyone is different though. It could even be discharge. Just keep an eye on it. Phone midwife if worried. But they'll probably just tell you to see what happens.

You could always get on your birthday ball If you want to try and encourage things.

It's definitely the plug going off google images ha ha!

I was induced with my first so didn't have any of the early build up to labour so am a bit clueless with what it all means.

Assuming that because I have no real pain or any contractions it could be a while before anything major happens...
