Brown spotting at 26wks

I've had brown spotting on my underwear quite a bit the first time, a little bit of cramping and some clot type tissue very small after a go to the toilet.

I've been to triage twice now and baby is fine, in regards to the heartbeat/movement, cervix being closed and no active bleeding. They've taken swabs but we have to wait until next week for the results and a scan.

We're worried obviously, I just wondered if anyone else had experienced the same?

I wasn't sure if it had anything to do with the fibroids l have?

Me! First day in triage they couldn't see any active bleeding, so went back to work, next day started bleeding again (bright red) and during the internal exam they couldn't see where the blood was coming from but there was definitely an active bleed. Had to spend the night in hospital. Next morning blood was brown and then later that night they did another internal exam, couldn't see anything and let me go home as I lived close to the hospital and could rush back if the blood turned red again.
That was 5 weeks ago. And I haven't had any bleeding since. They don't know why I had it but everything is fine, baby is perfect on schedule and healthy!
Apparently sometimes these things happen.
