Mucus plug

Morning ladies, I was just wondering for any of you who have had babies previous. Once your mucus plug started coming away how long was it before you went in to labour? :)

I went into labour 2 days after my plug came away.

My mucus plug didn't come out until I was in established labour!

The plug, my waters and first contraction were all within 10 minutes of each other!

With DS (third DC) I lost mine just before my due date and was induced at 40+15 Sad

Baby 1: started about two/three weeks before any action. Bit more came away after sweeps. Baby came at 40+11.

Baby 2: I never saw any of it. Assume it got lost during birth. 39w.

About 12 hours before my waters went. Then baby was born 12 hours after that.

Thought it came away about 2 weeks before though but it was a very small amount compared to what actually happened before labour.

@thewiseoldelf - me too, with my first DC. How annoying! I was so excited, then......nothing. Haha x

Contractions, waters and plug all came at the same time for me.

mine were both an hour or so before my waters broke which was an hour or so before contractions started (39 weeks)

I was loosing my plug a week before I went into labour at 39 weeks. Never had a bloody show
