Urine sample results?

I was asked to submit another urine sample by my midwife after the one at my booking appointment was found to contain bacteria. I did this 2 weeks ago but haven't heard anything - are they likely to have contacted me if there was a problem? I've only just remembered and the midwife won't be back at docs surgery until next Thursday now. I feel like such an idiot, particularly as I asked if I needed to phone up when I handed it in and just cannot remember what she said! She had said before there was a chance it was just a contaminated sample but I'm nearly 20 weeks now and don't have another appointment until 24 weeks so starting now to feel a bit worried about leaving it until then but not sure if it warrants a phone call to the antenatal unit. Any advice

It's probably worth ringing the midwives to put your mind at ease. I changed hospitals so had to do booking again and did have bacteria in urine. I got a letter maybe 2 1/2 weeks later which I was supposed to drop in at the doctors to get antibiotics. As it happened, I had had a hospital appointment a few days after the booking appointment so they had already sorted it all then.

Thanks, that's reassuring. I've found a number for antenatal queries, including test results, so I'll give it a ring tomorrow.
