Positive tests then negetive

I got my first BFP at 9dpo

I'm not 12DPO and still last night got a clear blue digital test last night saying pregnant 1-2 weeks

I did another this morning and got a *not pregnant

I had a miscarriage 4 months ago so I am so so worried I have been to the doctors this morning they gave me zero reassurance
I have not had any bleeding yet but very slight cramps on and off

I am so distraught I'm in floods of tears telling myself I will miscarry
How could digital test go from pregnant to not pregnant in hours

Anyone's stories would help

I'm so sorry. It sounds like it might have been a chemical pregnancy.

Have you tried taking another one? I know sometimes you can get false negatives, which are a lot more common than false positives. Did you use the test correctly? I've done it before and got a negative and I was pregnant, currently 22 weeks so it can happen.
If not then maybe what PP said a chemical pregnancy.

So sorry if it is a chemical. I think I had one before I had my second baby. I wasn't feeling well and got a light line on two different pregnancy tests that gradually disappeared before I had a heavy AF. Could you try normal line tests and see if you get any line progression? Good luck x

I think you're testing too early. 12 DPO.... so you're period isn't actually even due yet?

Those digital tests aren't as sensitive and can take a while to show a positive result (although I get why it would be confusing to have two different results). Results can vary on urine dilution etc. At such an early stage, your HGC levels will be very low and hard to detect.

The positive and negative test so close together makes me wonder too. Yes it could be a chemical pregnancy, but your hormones would have dropped very quickly in that case.
