39 years old and TTC for 2 years.

3 chemical pregnancies (natural conception)
1 chemical pregnancy (IVF)

Have slightly underactive thyroid and raised anticardiolipin antibodies (APS) which causes blood clotting. On levothyroxine, and aspirin and heparin when bfp.

Have frozen embryos so doctor is going to give me low dose steroid like Prednisolone for next transfer.

Has anyone else here taken Prednisolone after repeated early miscarriages?

Did it work for you?

When did you start taking it? My doctor says day of transfer.

What mg did you take?

What were the side effects?

Any advice?

Hello, yes I took it after my miscarriages (natural conception) for when I did my first IVF cycle. I took it from ovulation but I know a lot of doctors say from implantation. Amazingly I now have a wonderful daughter so I think it's worth a go. I was really hungry on them and did get bloated but that's nothing really. I think it psychologically helped to know I was doing everything I could to help the baby stick. I was on 25mg and then started lowering the dose to stop them at 16 weeks. Wishing you the absolute best of luck with your next cycle
