Hi, this looks positive to me..clear blue test.. but I need someone else to agree and have not told anyone yet..did it an hour ago.. I will do another one in 2days but can this be wrong? Or is it more than likely correct?

Yes that sounds peculiar for them not to check for their records.. I shall contact the doctors next week as I'm away. 😀😱 Still not sunk in. Thank you for your congratulations x

Congratulations! I wouldn't bother with a digital test because if you're a week late it'll probably just say 3+ weeks anyway (they don't go above 3 weeks). That would make you 5 weeks by midwife standards, who date you from the first day of your last period, not by the date you conceived. That's what happened to me anyway- spent about £12 on a pack of two digital tests (they didn't have any single packs) and it didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know!

That's a good strong positive! Get a digital if you want, but probably a waste of money. They're expensive and the 'week' predictors are really unreliable.

Lol I know I know..I had to do another one to prove it to myself. Was worth it..now I'm convinced the docs is my next port of call.

To be fair I absolutely cannot talk, because I only actually took a digital test in the first place because I knew DH wouldn't understand or believe a line! I was right. He needed the words! Congratulations. Just tell the receptionist you've taken a pregnancy test and it's positive and you want to book in with the midwife- you don't need to see an actual doctor x
