Baby blankets....how many of which? Popcorn ones ok for sleeping

I am abit confused what blankets we need. We so far only have a knitted pram, a fleecy pram and a cot bed cellular blanket and coverlet. I have read that we shouldnt use fleece for sleeping, so we need cellular. i was going to buy some more cellular ones for the moses basket but i keep seeing popcorn ones - are these ok for sleeping?

I think the general consensus is no but that's all ds would sleep with until he was big enough for a grobag. We only had one popcorn blanket so had to buy another. I think they are probably meant more for pram or daytime sleeps though I'm not sure

I only had a couple of blankets I think. I'm sure that'll be plenty and you're likely to get given loads as presents too! We moved to a grobag as soon as possible too.
