Just wondered if it's normal to have severe bloating in very early pregnancy and if anybody else experienced it what did you do about it? It's killing x

Yes very common.

SheSaidHeSaid · 01/08/2017 19:05

It's definitely common in early pregnancy. Not sure if there is anything you can do about it though unfortunately. I think if there was then everyone would do it as the bloating is a major giveaway when you're trying not to act/look pregnant before you want to tell people.

I felt bloated and had period like cramps for a week or 2 after several positive pregnancy tests and was convinced my period was going to show it's face. Luckily that didn't happen.

Polly99 · 01/08/2017 19:16

Yup. When I got pregnant for the first time I had such appalling period cramps I was certain I was coming on and took a whole load of pain meds (containing aspirin -whoops!)
