Nursing bras

Pregnant with number 3, a surprise and I had binned all of my baby things including all my maternity clothes. I need to buy some nursing bras wondered when the best time would be to get them given that I might still grow. I'm 22 weeks at the moment. Thanks

I seem to think I read a thread yesterday on this and the general advice was to wait as long as possible before getting them so they actually fit!

I'm hoping someone can guide me on the best place for reasonably priced, good fitting mat bras .... none of mine from last time worked for me!

Thanks! I'll hang on.

I spent quite a lot on mine. I'm about 34 G and you don't seem to be able to get those sizes easily on the high street. Planning on going to indie bra shop and just get one black and one white...

Leave it for as long as possible. I'd suggest buying some from brastop on a credit card and then returning the ones that don't fit - they do free delivery on big orders and free returns.

This is your 3rd baby so I'm sure you know what you're doing, but can you really manage with 2 bras? In the early days I was leaking through bras and I still have odd days when the baby pukes down my shoulder/cleavage.

I'm bigger than you so don't have much choice, I've found mothercare bras crap, Royce ok and cake the best (although large in the cup).

I had to buy two lots - one while I was pregnant as I couldn't fit into my old bras anymore and I needed something soft and comfy to sleep in. Otherwise the general advice is to wait until your milk has settled, so I guess around 6-8 weeks. I'm a 34F and can massively recommend Hot Milk. I managed for ages with 2 bras - I was doing a wash for the baby every day so I just threw my bra in with that.
