Hcg levels 24..... early pregnancy

I did a test just over a week ago. Came back positive along with an additional 9 more tests over the past week, last one taken yesterday and all positive.

Been to EPU this morning due to slight bleeding. Can't see anything on internal scan but have taken bloods. My prediction isni am only 2 weeks pregnant so didn't expect to see anything on scan. However, had my bloods taken and have come back as hcg level being 24 which is obviously very low. I will have repeat bloods done on Thursday now to see if they increase or decrease.... I'm just wondering if anyone else has had such low hcg levels at early stages of pregnancy and gone on to have a lovely pregnancy?

I'm still early days (8 weeks today) but at 15dpo my hcg was only 30. By 6w3d it was 6700, which is still pretty low. But a few days later at 6w6d we saw a heartbeat, albeit slow at 99 and measuring 6 days behind. Yesterday I was 7w6d and went back for another ultrasound and miraculously my little one had caught up and measured spot on 7w6d and heartbeat was 163. It's definitely been a rollercoaster with some bleeding and lots of cramps. But my ob gyn is happy with progress and I'm hoping that this little peanut will stick around! So low betas don't always mean bad news. They need to double appropriately (at least 66% increase in 72 hours until 4000 is my ob gyn minimum requirements for determining viability) mine went 30, 119, 258, then a 6 day break and then 2531, then 48hrs later 3623, 48hrs after that 4845, and 48hrs after that 6700.
Best of luck 💕🍀💕

Thanks for your reply. I haven't had any cramping just bleeding. I'm just hoping my levels increase by Thursday. I don't understand all the abbreviations tbh lol. What do you mean by 15dpo if you don't mind me asking?

I think it means days post ovulation

How far along are you? When was your last period?

babyjonesie2018 · 01/08/2017 20:55

I have very irregular periods and between myself and the EPU nurse we think very very early stages. 2 weeks. I haven't had period for 2 months but I did a pregnancy test a week before my first positive test which was negative
