Hello! I'm 16+4 today and since the weekend I've noticed a lot of aching pains in my bump / abdomen. Mild pain but quite niggling. Nothing I'd have to take painkillers for however.

Is this normal stretching and growing pains? I've been pregnant once before up but only up until 15 weeks so thinking this could be stretching as its as far as my womb has ever been before.

Just need reassurance really!

Almost certainly stretching pains! If it does get painful, you feel out of breath or sore though make sure you ring up for some reassurance.
Sounds exactly what I had between about 16 and 26 weeks on and off, randomly achy bump. Baby tends to have a big growth spurt so you might get some stretch marks if you're unlucky like me! X

Thanks so much @RedPandaMama - exactly what I was hoping to hear! My bump has suddenly really hardened this week, gonna start applying almond oil now :)

@AnUtterIdiot I also have sciatic pains in my bum!
I can handle the stretching pains and I'm ok with it all as it means baby is * g r o w i n g ! how exciting :)
