6 week ultrasound - Twins?

Hello all, I'm new here and just wanted some opinions.

I had an early scan today, my midwife estimated me to be 6wk6d. Heard our little ones heart beat which I was so relieved to see and hear.

I've attached a picture. Does anyone think that is a second sac on the left?? There is twins on my mums side of the family 😐

I think the MW would have picked it up if it was. Or do you think maybe you've miscarried one and she didn't say?

The sonographer didn't say it was no. I was just wondering what that is on the left.
She was moving the wand around so fast!

I'm happy either way as I got to hear the heartbeat 😊

I had a scan at 9 weeks which showed a dark patch like yours, the sonographer said it was a pocket of blood that would either be passed or absorbed (was absorbed and caused no problems). Its unlikely they would miss a twin

It may just be the angle - I'm sure the sonography would have picked up a second sac
