Breast itching - should i worry?

I have a GP appt but it's not til Weds and I'm really anxious about this. For the past few days my left breast has been really uncomfortable and itchy, always in the same place. I think I am worrying mainly as I also have a mole on that breast, right over where the itch is. The skin is slightly red, but not all the time, just when it is itching. Could this be changes in my breast due to milk production etc? This is my second pregnancy but I don't remember this in my first. I'm only 26 weeks pregnant so not producing colostrum or anything like that. I'm really anxious generally at the moment and not sure if I'm worrying about nothing but ive convinced myself it's something sinister! Can anyone reassure me that this is a pregnancy thing?

I've had itchy boobs for the past few weeks! when i googled it it said that it can be due to skin stretching as they get bigger. Whenever they were itchy i'd just put some coconut oil on it some coconut butter and it took it off slightly. Try not to worry! 🤗 mention it to your GP for peace of mind but pregnancy makes your body do weird things! x

It's normal. My left one has been really itchy too. I remember in my last pregnancy I made my boobs bleed with all the scratching.

You mention a mole in the itchy area- I'd say best to get it checked for that reason, just to be on the safe side. Most likely it's absolutely fine but it's worrying you, and it'll keep worrying you until you get it looked at Smile
