Miscarriage

I found out on Thursday I was 5+2 and on Sunday when I was 5+5 I suffered a miscarriage. The doctor I saw told me there wasn't anything she could do and sent me away without any kind of support or what to expect. Since last night I've had chronic back pain especially in my lower back and constant head ache, I had a temp of 38.8 but that came down with paracetamol. I've got another doctors appointment later but I just wanted to know if anyone else suffered with similar symptoms after a miscarriage? Thanks for reading

Yes i did. I felt dreadful and it was around the same time as you (I have had 2 around this stage).

Take the time off work, put your feet up and treat yourself kindly. It may be painful but hopefully it will be over soon. If you're in pain even after the paracetamol please ring your GP again. They should be supporting you through this.

Much love xx

Unfortunately yes, I've had 5 miscarriages in the past. Although I experienced different symptoms with each one, back pain has always been one of them.
Miscarriage aftercare is appalling in this country (U.K.)
But take a look on the Tommys webpage if you need anymore info.
I'd be happy to answer any questions for you too.
So sorry to hear you are going through this.
Definitely rest as much as you can, even if you don't feel too bad.

Obviously you've got too much stress... It's very difficult both physical and moral. These symptoms I've heard occur often after miscarriage. Very well that you visited a doctor in time. Good luck x
