Give me a bit of a shake?

26 weeks +3 days pregnant with DC3. I've been through it all before, know what's within normal boundaries and apart from SPD in previous pregnancies sailed through them without much issues. Was a lot younger then but I think that helped massively because I never worried much about things, took everything in my stride.

This pregnancy I seem to be a bag of nerves, but my main concern is cramp right now. I've got what feels like moderate cramp in my abdomen and lower back, it's been there on and off for weeks but today it has been pretty much constant. I know it's normal, I know my womb is likely just stretching and growing. DBump is kicking away fine, he's a very active little one and a pretty damn strong kicker so I've no worries that he's in distress. The irrational side of me is screaming that I'm about to go into very early labour and there's something seriously wrong though and I think I just need a bit of a shake. Or to vent, or to cry, or maybe some ice cream - not entirely sure tbh.

Please tell me constant cramp is normal? I'm going a bit insane Sad

Could be round ligament pain. . Was so bad I couldn't believe things were going OK. Make sure you mention it to your mw though. .

I'm getting it (27+2), especially when I stand up too quick or sneeze. I had a bit of trapped wind yesterday that made me question if it was a contraction (it really made me reconsider an epidural!).

If you know everything is fine is there anything else going on that is triggering your anxiety?

I'm 28 weeks with my second and called maternity assessment last night because the braxton hicks I've been getting constantly since 22 weeks started to be joined by periody lower back pain coming every five minutes or so. The midwife said I probably have an 'irritable uterus'. She didn't explain any further but I've googled and it's apparently painful but not a worry. Could that be what you're feeling?

Trapped wind is blooming painful, frightened the life out of me when I started getting it this time around! Not due to see MW for another two weeks but will definitely ask about round ligament pain, this is getting unbearable it's so frequent :(

Not particularly anything else triggering it (that I can pinpoint anyway). Had an ectopic pregnancy the start of last year and the entire way through this pregnancy I've had the fear that something is going to go wrong/baby won't be ok. Thought I was dealing with it pretty well though but it feels like all of my worries have just suddenly piled on top of me.

Googled irritable uterus but it doesn't sound like that for me choir, mine is more like a constant dull cramping feeling. That does sound painful though, hope you're doing ok!
