Hi, 16 weeks pregnant. Suddenly got terrible dandruff. Really big flakes coming away. Is it safe to use head and shoulders type shampoos? Anyone got any recommendations?

Pantene also has the active ingredient in it to get rid of dandruff.
Do not use tresemme, I switched to this and had the worst case of dandruff I've ever had.
I only use Pantene now and I use the 2 in 1 because I'm lazy!

I had this with DS from about 20 weeks all the way to when he was born. My scalp was also horrendously itchy. The best thing I found was the tar shampoo from tgel. It doesn't smell great but really helped. I'd tried loads of shampoos before that one & it was the only one that solved the itching & the flaking.

I had this too, gone now at 36 weeks. The ginger shampoo from body shop worked for a while then the loreal for men (dont get me started on that) dandruff shampoo in black/blue bottle with orange lid! Trial and error though.
