Please help as am desperado for new bras!!!

I am 19+3 and want to invest in some new bras.

I cannot find anywhere non-underwired, really padded (not a stupid thin layer) bras for a 32 back. I have "pointy" shaped boobs so therefore like the padding to take that away. Have always worn very padded bras so would not feel comfortable in something different. Not sure if I specifically need "maternity" but please advise.

Please help, I am getting desperate.

I do not mind ordering online either.

figleaves?

I always used to wear padded, the elleMacpherson La mere maternity bra isn't padded but not too thin and does give a really nice shape.

You don't need maternity bras at this stage. Last time I was pg, I simply got a bigger bra (underwired) which I then replaced at about 36 weeks with a nursing bra. So if I were you, I would just buy your normal style of bra and then invest in a nursing bra in due course...

Maternity bras are just nursing bras with very few, if any, exceptions. You don't need to specifically buy these kind of bras during pregnancy and there's no point in buying them now thinking you will use them if you plan to breastfeed since your size will be totally different once your milk comes in. Just buy any bra that gives good support and fits properly - make sure to get measured of course.

Have you tried JoJo Maman Bebe? They had padded bras there at the weekend.

true 19+3 doh!

They do advise not to wear underwires but as long as it is well fitted (go somewhere where thy know their stuff) it should be fine. Don't invest in anything expensive as you might need new bras another couple of times before the end, leave you investing in nice nursing bras etc until a few weeks after birth when everything has settled down and you know your size (but you will want a couple of nursing bras before that)

I got remeasured at 15wks after astonishing nork expansion and bought normal padded underwired bras in new size.
So long as they fit properly (really properly) nowt wrong with underwiring.

Also have my eye on this as it's the most padded nursing bra I've seen - let me know if you've spotted anything better...

do you specificall want non-underwired?

i ask because the anita u/wired is utterly fabulous - i have owned 6 of them in different sizes and colours over the past couple of years (pg, bfing, now pg again)

here

better to be fitted by a specialist shop (then you can always order more from this site, as i've done)

they do an identical bra for maternity, rather than nursing - only difference is the strap
