I'm too hot, I can't sleep, I constantly need to pee, the shooting pains down there are getting painful, despite multiple false alarms of long periods of braxton hicks there is no sign of labour starting, and if I get one more message asking "so baby isn't here yet then?" I'm going to scream!!! Angry

I'm basically just having a whinge, and I know you tend to be late with your first, but despite walking lots, eating lots of pineapple and spicy food, bouncing on my exercise ball and using the DH to "help speed things along" I feel like this baby is never going to come out and I'm starting to get really quite demoralised Sad

Anyone else want to share/wallow? Flowers

You poor thing, I'm almost 37 weeks and also over it. I have had some pains etc too. It's annoying not knowing when will start. I totally sympathise 💐

I'm 36 weeks with no 3 and it's the first time I'm not in a hurry for them to arrive Grin trust me late pregnancy is nothing compared to those sleep deprived newborn days !!

Sasmac2017 · 29/07/2017 06:22

Haha cupcake girl 😂 Very true. This is my second, but I'm finding the end of pregnancy a real nightmare with my other son and step daughter wanting to constantly be taken out, entertained etc etc. they are 5 and 9 yrs. once the baby is out, I'll definitely have an excuse to 'ignore' them.

Oh hello! Found my thread. 40+2. Thought it was all getting going yesterday but false alarm. Dreadful night's "sleep". It's a quandary because I'm not sure I actually want to do labour (bit late for that!) but I'm starting to have enough of being pregnant. Ironically, I've felt better this week than I have for the past 39!

RedPandaMama · 29/07/2017 09:47

39+3 here and feeling the same, and I could have nearly 3 weeks wait yet Sad so uncomfortable and can't sleep a wink.

I'm 40+4 and I feel great but mentally I am exhausted. I was ready 2 weeks ago! Every little twinge and ache puts me on edge, like "is this finally it?!" I've been having intense BH every night since 37w and (TMI, sorry) I've been losing bits of plug every day since Tuesday but my midwife says it doesn't count since it's not bloody. I feel quite down. I just want to lie in bed all day and hide away. I feel upset that I won't get my homebirth. I've prepared so much for it, made myself a cosy little birthing area and I've looked forward to it. Well, as much as you can look forward to labour!
I have my induction booked for Tuesday and I'm dreading it, I don't want to go in to hospital but also I don't want to go past 41w as this baby is already estimated to be 10lb 2oz.

Also, if one more person tells me that babies come when they are ready I will scream! Same goes for telling me to bounce on my ball, eat spicy food, have sex. Angry

Yup. I feel your pain. Over due and in agony here. And every night I have hours of regularish braxton hicks and I get my hopes up... and nothing!

And the "advice" is making me angry too! I can't eat curry, I have such bad indigestion I will be sick. What position exactly am I meant to get into for sex? Thanks for the suggestions people, real helpful...
