Head engaging

Just been for a midwife appointment and she's said babies head is straying to engage ..... what does this usually mean that I'm close ? Sorry just wondering

The head can pop in and out of the pelvis. With DD I didn't engage at all until I was in labour. This baby floats between 4/5 engaged and 2/5

I was 4/5 engaged (which actually is only the tip of the head) at 31 weeks because I walked so much it just wore him down. In the last week he went to 2/5 but I was "starting to engage" at 31 weeks and he was born at 39 weeks. My sister was engaged 3/5s at 30 weeks and went 7 days over, sorry x

I was consistently 4/5 engaged 1/5 palpable from 32 weeks with my 3rd - thought I'd have him early but I went 13 days over

Ah oh well eh she will be here when ready, been cramping so much and getting tight tummy but could be anything suppose thanks girl x
