Two weeks ago I was fine, busy around the house, walking loads and feeling fit.
But recently I've hit a total wall and really struggling to imagine lasting another 4-5 weeks (36 weeks pregnant now)!
My back pain wakes me up every morning, the house has gone to pot, I have no energy or motivation to go anywhere or even get a shower, I'm getting aches and cramps. I know this is all part of the end stretch but I'm really starting to become anxious and fed up. The thought of another month or more of it is totally getting me down :(

I'm 35+5 with my second so I have a 2.5 year old to look after as well. It's really hard work sometimes and I'm totally knackered quite a bit. I'm trying not to count the days too much because I know I could still have a while to go and I think it will make it drag! If you don't have other kids I'd say just rest as much as you can now. Watch films, take naps etc. You'll never get this time again!!!

Thanks Malbec - I can't imagine doing it all with a toddler too so total respect for you! I will certainly take your advice for the day and just rest - DH is away next week which I'm really looking forward to to be honest - lazy days without feeling guilty that he's juggling anything!

I thought like you last pregnancy- couldn't imagine doing it with a child at all but in a way it does make it go faster because you can't sit about! But yeah once baby comes you'll never get the time to rest and if you have another there will be no proper maternity leave so try and enjoy it in any way you can! If you can afford it, a pregnancy massage is lovely!

Are you still working? I started mat leave at 37 weeks and DD is still in nursery 4 days. Pace yourself and accept you have little stamina Flowers

I'm trying to nap each day, and accepting the long list of jobs I stupidly saved so I wouldn't get bored won't all get done.

I'm using stick on heat packs, paracetamol and hot baths to get through the back pain, and have found more pillows for my legs at night have helped the back pain.
