Please tell me someone has a solution? I'm 35 weeks and the upper back (thoracic spine) aches so much that it wakes me every morning around 5. It's starting to really get me down. All I want is one lie in :( please help!!

Please get yourself a referral to physio asap if you can! I had this and agonising rib pain and although it takes a little while to work, it is soooo worth it. I just spoke to my midwife and she gave me a number for self referral and I was seen within a week.
Please don't just suffer with it, it's awful!

I have this too. I have to get up and walk around and stretch before it will go away. 😢

I saw physio and she recommended an NHS prenatal pilates class. Maybe they will have something like this near you?

Oh brilliant, I just thought this would be one of those things I'd have to deal with! Persephone, how did you get in touch with a physio? Was it through midwife or GP?
Bambi - did you phone your midwife for the referral or wait till you saw her? Im due to see mine on Thurs, is it worth calling up before hand?

I saw the physio via my midwife - it was a self referral by just calling a number as Bambi says.

I would just ring the community midwives and get the number. They are usually really helpful!
