Ok so I have 2 children already and with both of them I knew I was pregnant, this time I'm kind of worried I've had no signs of any sort, I keep thinking I'll get my period but 3 tests all say I'm pregnant including a clear blue.. I'm just stressing because clear blue says 2-3 weeks so first scan will be about 2 months away but I keep getting a feeling that there will be no baby there. I know it sounds dumb but I don't feel pregnant if you get what I mean, any help and advice would be great thanks

Maybe with two children to keep you busy you're just not as tuned into your body as you were with your first two pregnancies?

If you can afford it, a private scan might be a good idea to put your mind at ease.

Can you get a private scan so early on? I'm waiting for my first midwife appointment but do you think I should mention this?

Why don't you book yourself an early private scan?

It could just be because your pretty busy that your not noticing anything or maybe as your early on?

Try not to worry and congratulations 🙂

Maybe but with me being only 2-3 weeks a scan wouldn't even pick anything up, they'd have to do internal wouldn't they and that isn't comfortable lol, I had one with my first pregnancy

Yeah it would probably be internal. I think the absolute earliest would be 6 weeks to pick up heartbeat.

I know it's difficult for someone else to say to try stay calm, I found out super early with this pregnancy after miscarriage 6 months before and it was hell having to wait it out.

Can midwife or doctors check bloods to see what hcg levels are?

Every pregnancy is different so could end up getting some symptoms in few days or week?

Pregnancy is dated from your last period, so if you're saying 2/3 weeks you're actually 4/5? So you could get an early scan in the next couple of weeks?
I've had my fair share of internal scans in the past and although they can be a little uncomfortable it might help put your mind at ease? X

Call a scan centre and see what the earliest they will do scans is.
I had an internal one. The most uncomfortable part was holding my kegs in that awkward "apart" position. I was too interested in the screen to pay much attention to anything else though!

What was the date of your last period? Honestly I think every pregnancy is different and it is so early to get symptoms but I paid privately for an early scan and it was great for putting my mind at ease x
