I need to moan

I know pregnancy is a blessing but dear God do I feel lousy!

Am lying on my bed, my lovely DC do not know I am PG (not telling them until first scan) so they have no idea why their usually happy mother is collapsed sloth like in bed, eating carbohydrates, knackered and trying not to vomit...

The biggest blessing is that DC are 8 & 10 therefore not demanding toddlers....

I feel like a crap mum. My house is ikky, my dogs need walking but my energy levels are zero and I feel sick SadSadSad

Bless you love x it's horrid feeling so yuk at the early stage, sending hugs x I'm 35 weeks feel terrible and have neglected my 4.5 year old today but bless her she's being very good.

Hope you feel better soon love xx and they'll be so excited when you tell them x

Same here, DD is 3.5 and I had to bribe her to stay next to me in bed yesterday by letting her watch The Little Princess on my phone--all because I was so desperate to sleep!

I'm 6 weeks and have constant nausea, horrendous back pain, heart burn and sore boobs Sad delightful!

Here's hoping it doesn't last much longer, absolutely no nausea when I was expecting DD!

With you! I'm 9 weeks, and feel horrendous. My DS is 3.5 so aware mummy is poorly but don't want to tell him until after 12 week scan. He asks me every day if I feel better, I hate that I can't give him as much attention but I just feel horrible. Luckily DH is around a lot at the moment (he usually works away a lot) so he can do the bulk of the work with DS and around the house, but I am still hating this. Hope things improve for you soon catgotmytongue. x

My husband was basically a single parent to my 12 and 9 year olds during the first trimester. It was horrendous. We didn't tell them until the 1st scan either so god knows what they thought had happened to me.

Thank you so much for your lovely replies I am now having a weep at them! My sickness gets worse through the day... I start off human and deteriorate. Driving is now near impossible after lunchtime. My poor DS1 keeps asking me what I've eaten Sad did a dog walk whilst retching at the smell of poo bag... my DM was most confused at my fragile state as I'm usually tough as old boots and my dogs are huge & strong! (Not telling her either until 1st scan)

Big hugs to those with toddlers... I am barely coping with my animals & older kids SadSad

I'm 6 weeks... I do not remember feeling this crap with my 2 DS's.... !! It's either my age or my memory deceiving me!

Oh yes I'll moan with you :) I'm 36+4, fat, tired, pelvis is killing me and it feels like this baby is trying to boot his Way out.
I hope you feel better ASAP. The early queezies aren't fun at all...I hope it passes for you. Great your other DC are a bit older. I also have a 5 & 9 yr old... I couldn't imagine being this cumbersome with toddlers hanging around. And don't worry about the house, plenty of nesting coming your way in a few month :) x

Can I join you for a moan? I'm 30 weeks currently. I threw up every day for 18 weeks then had a slight reprieve before I started again last week. I can't count the amount of times people told me I should just be grateful I was pregnant (bit of a slog getting here!). I damn near killed myself working full time shifts, looking after my 4 year old and keeping the house half decent.

In the last week my best friend and DH have come down with a sickness bug and have retired to bed, with lots of moaning and FB posts feeling sorry for themselves. Apparently it's different to pregnancy because I'm just pregnant... not sick...
